GAURNERA-KLIEWER ADDITION
LOCATION: GROVER BEACH, CA.
The Guarnera-Kliewer Addition was a unique challenge to address a client's vision for a "Hobbit House", office addition with a sitting porch while fitting into an established, suburban neighborhood of mediterrean and craftsman style residences. All the while maintaining a comfortable living area with a realistic budget. What came about was a wonderful collaboration between client, architect, and contractor.
ARCHITECT OF RECORD: DANCIART ARCHITECTURE
General Contractor: O'Brien Design and Construction

"My wife was enthusiastically pushing for what seemed to me to be an impossible job. She wanted to remodel our house to add a Hobbit Hole. She wanted it to be an office that was both cozy and roomy. I threw up my hands and suggested this conundrum could only be solved by an architect. This was our first time working with an architect and Peter Danciart did an excellent job in translating my wife's request into a do-able project and in communicating his ideas to her despite her inability to visualize them from drawings. We are extremely proud of the results of this unusual project and highly recommend Peter. He is timely, accurate, and easy to work with."
